After a sabbatical in 2017, an emptiness was widely felt amongst the players which could only be filled with experiencing Tour once more, therefore it's a return to Malta for what will, no doubt, be a memorable weekend.

A hardy group of 43 have signed up and all places are now fully booked. The main party of 35 will fly from Bournemouth early on the morning of Thursday 17th May, returning on the Sunday afternoon, with a further 8 going from Gatwick.

We'll be staying once again at The Alexandra Palace Hotel in St. Julians and playing in the Malta International Senior Tournament

Continuing my personal journey around South-East Asia happened in February/March 2018. The original intention to visit Myanmar was postponed due to the morally unacceptable situation there with the Rohingya people so, with equal excitement, the Himalayas of Nepal was been tacked on to the beaches and culture of Sri Lanka and a flying visit to Malaysia

Without doubt, Iceland is a country like no other and, as such, had long been an ambition of mine to visit. So it was that, after an excited wait until November, Judy, Paul, Biddy and I delved into what the South-East coastal road had to offer. What we found was way beyond any expectations and a week of smiles, laughter and unbelievable experiences ensued while the famously expensive country ensured our wallets took an almighty hit. It was worth every penny!

Nothing to do with rugby or travel but I love music and these are worth a listen
