Continuing the journey around South-East Asia is now going to happen in February/March 2018. The original intention to visit Myanmar has been postponed due to the morally unacceptable situation there so, with equal excitement, the Himalayas of Nepal has been tacked on to the beaches and culture of Sri Lanka

Without doubt, Iceland is a country like no other and, as such, had long been an ambition of mine to visit. So it was that, after an excited wait until November, Judy, Paul, Biddy and I delved into what the South-East coastal road had to offer. What we found was way beyond any expectations and a week of smiles, laughter and unbelievable experiences ensued while the famously expensive country ensured our wallets took an almighty hit. It was worth every penny!

My latest Asian adventure took me to Northern Thailand, Laos and Cambodia in February/March 2017, the highlight of which being a two-day cruise down the mighty Mekong River, which carried me to delightful Luang Prabang

Nothing to do with rugby or travel but I love music and these are worth a listen
